  • Applicable consumer-protection law

Some products may include a stated refund or satisfaction-guarantee period. Other products may have different conditions.

  • The customer has redistributed, copied, or misused the product

  • The request relates only to failure to review the product description or technical requirements

  • Files will display identically on every device

  • All errors will be corrected immediately

  • Products will remain available indefinitely

We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue a website, product, feature, or delivery method.

Discontinuing future sales does not automatically entitle previous purchasers to a refund.

Where reasonably possible, we will assist customers experiencing legitimate access or delivery problems.

16. Third-Party Platforms and Links

Our websites and services may use or link to third-party platforms, including payment processors, checkout providers, email services, hosting providers, analytics services, social-media platforms, and external resources.

  • Accuracy

  • Completeness

  • Availability

  • Business interruption

  • Relationship decisions

  • Personal decisions

  • Third-party platforms

  • Unauthorized access

  • Technical failures

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Openbound Editions’ total liability arising from a specific purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Openbound Editions harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of our products or services

  • Your unauthorized reproduction or distribution of our content

  • Your fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive conduct

This section does not require you to indemnify Openbound Editions for conduct for which indemnification is prohibited by law.

We may suspend or terminate access to a product or service if we reasonably determine that you have:

  • Violated these Terms

  • Shared or redistributed protected content

  • Engaged in fraud or payment abuse

  • Attempted unauthorized access

  • Used our products unlawfully

  • Threatened the security or operation of our services

Termination does not eliminate obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

Sections concerning intellectual property, prohibited use, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, disputes, and governing law will survive termination.

21. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

By using our websites or purchasing a product, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed through third-party payment, checkout, delivery, analytics, and email platforms as described in that policy.

22. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them will be governed by the applicable laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

However, mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your place of residence are not excluded where they cannot legally be waived.

  • Order or transaction number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • The resolution requested

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to the courts or consumer-protection authorities with jurisdiction under applicable law.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

  • Our products or services

  • Business practices

  • Delivery platforms

  • Legal requirements

  • Security needs

  • Technology

The revised Terms will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.

The Terms in effect at the time of your purchase will generally govern that transaction, except where a change is required by law or relates to continuing access, security, or platform operation.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted or removed if necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

26. No Waiver

Failure by Openbound Editions to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only when made expressly in writing.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable:

  • Product sales page

  • Checkout terms

  • Privacy Policy

  • Refund Policy

  • Digital Delivery Policy

constitute the agreement between you and Openbound Editions concerning your purchase and use of the applicable product.

Refund Policy

Last Updated: July 26, 2026

Openbound Editions wants customers to have a clear and fair opportunity to evaluate their purchases.

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, all eligible purchases of Openbound Editions digital products are covered by a 15-day refund guarantee, subject to the terms described below.

1. Fifteen-Day Refund Period

You may request a refund within 15 calendar days from the date of purchase.

The refund period begins on the date the payment is successfully approved, regardless of when you first open, access, download, print, or use the product.

Refund requests submitted after the 15-day period are generally not eligible, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

2. Products Covered

This Refund Policy generally applies to one-time purchases of Openbound Editions digital products, including:

Ebooks

Digital guides

Workbooks

Printable materials

Templates

Trackers

Checklists

Scripts

Digital bundles

Other downloadable products

No physical product must be returned because Openbound Editions sells digitally delivered materials.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, use the refund process provided by the checkout platform through which you completed your purchase.

When the purchase was processed through Hotmart, you may submit the request through Hotmart’s official refund system using the purchase information provided in your confirmation email.

You may also contact:

hello@openboundeditions.com

Use the subject line:

Refund Request

Include the following information:

Your full name

The email address used for the purchase

The name of the product

The purchase date

The order or transaction number

A brief explanation of the request

Providing this information helps us locate and process the transaction. You are not required to provide extensive personal details.

4. Eligible Refund Requests

A refund request is generally eligible when:

It is submitted within 15 calendar days of purchase.

The purchase can be located and verified.

The request concerns an eligible Openbound Editions digital product.

The request is made by the original purchaser or an authorized representative.

There is no reasonable evidence of fraud, unlawful distribution, or abuse of the refund policy.

A customer does not need to prove that the product is defective to request a refund within the applicable guarantee period.

5. Refund Method and Processing Time

Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method and processed by the checkout platform, payment processor, bank, or card issuer involved in the transaction.

Openbound Editions does not control the time required for a bank, card issuer, or payment platform to display the refunded amount after it has been approved and released.

Processing times may vary based on:

Payment method

Financial institution

Country

Currency

Payment platform

Banking or fraud-review procedures

Any currency-conversion differences or independent banking fees are controlled by the applicable financial institution and not by Openbound Editions.

6. Access After a Refund

Once a refund has been approved:

Your license to use the product ends.

Access to membership areas, download pages, or related materials may be revoked.

You must stop using the refunded product.

You must delete digital copies stored on your devices, cloud accounts, or personal drives.

You may not continue printing, copying, distributing, sharing, reselling, or using the refunded materials.

A refund does not transfer ownership or grant continued rights to the product.

7. Duplicate Purchases and Incorrect Charges

If you believe you were charged more than once for the same product, purchased the wrong product, or do not recognize a transaction, contact us promptly at:

hello@openboundeditions.com

Include the purchase email and transaction information so the issue can be investigated.

Verified duplicate charges will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

For unrecognized or potentially fraudulent transactions, you may also need to contact the payment processor or your financial institution.

8. Technical or Delivery Problems

Before requesting a refund because you did not receive or cannot access a product, contact:

hello@openboundeditions.com

Please include:

Your name

Purchase email

Product name

Order or transaction number

A description of the access problem

We will make a reasonable effort to correct delivery problems, provide a replacement download link, or restore legitimate access.

Requesting technical assistance does not reduce or extend the original 15-day refund period unless Openbound Editions confirms otherwise in writing.

9. Abuse, Fraud, and Unauthorized Distribution

Openbound Editions may investigate and, where permitted by applicable law, deny or challenge a refund request when there is reasonable evidence of:

Fraudulent payment activity

False transaction information

Repeated or systematic refund abuse

Purchase-and-refund behavior intended to obtain products without payment

Unauthorized resale or distribution

Public sharing of product files or download links

Copyright infringement

Chargeback abuse

Other unlawful conduct

This section is not intended to restrict legitimate refund requests or eliminate consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Downloading, opening, or using a product does not by itself make a timely refund request ineligible.

10. Bundles

A bundle is sold as a single product unless the applicable sales page states otherwise.

When a refund is approved for a bundle:

The refund applies to the complete bundle.

Access to all included products may be revoked.

Individual components cannot normally be returned separately.

Partial refunds are not generally available for unused portions of a bundle.

11. Promotional Purchases and Discounted Products

Eligible products purchased during a promotion, sale, or discount period remain covered by the same 15-day refund period unless a different condition was clearly disclosed before purchase.

The amount refunded will not exceed the amount actually paid for the product.

Discounts, promotional credits, coupons, bonuses, or expired offers do not have a separate cash value.

12. Bonuses

When a refund is approved for a product that included bonuses:

Access to the main product and all bonuses may be revoked.

The customer must stop using and delete the bonus materials.

Bonuses are not eligible for separate or partial refunds.

The value assigned to a bonus on a sales page does not create a separate cash entitlement.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage customers to contact Openbound Editions or use the checkout platform’s refund process before initiating a chargeback.

A chargeback is not a substitute for submitting a refund request under this policy.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, access to the relevant product may be suspended while the payment provider investigates.

We reserve the right to provide the payment processor with relevant transaction, delivery, access, communication, and policy records when responding to a dispute.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights available through your bank, payment provider, or applicable law.

14. Consumer Rights

This Refund Policy provides a voluntary 15-day commercial guarantee.

It does not limit, exclude, or replace consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to your purchase.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights concerning:

Unauthorized transactions

Misrepresented products

Products not delivered

Defective or inaccessible files

Deceptive commercial practices

Other legally protected circumstances

Digital Delivery Policy

Last Updated: July 26, 2026

Openbound Editions sells digital publications, downloadable guides, workbooks, templates, bundles, and related digital materials.

This Digital Delivery Policy explains how purchased products are delivered, what customers must do to receive them, and how to obtain assistance if a delivery or access problem occurs.

1. Digital Products Only

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, all Openbound Editions products are delivered digitally.

No physical book, workbook, card, package, or other physical item will be shipped to your address.

Product images displayed on our websites may include digital mockups intended to show how the files may look when viewed, downloaded, or printed. These images do not indicate that a physical product is included.

2. Delivery Method

Depending on the product and checkout platform, digital products may be delivered through:

A download link

A purchase-confirmation email

A customer-access page

A Hotmart account

A membership or content area

Another digital delivery platform identified during checkout

The applicable delivery method may vary by product.

3. When Delivery Occurs

Digital access is generally provided after payment has been successfully approved.

For many purchases, access instructions or a download link are sent shortly after payment confirmation.

Delivery may take longer when:

A payment is pending or under review

The payment method requires additional processing

Fraud-prevention or security verification is required

The customer entered an incorrect email address

The message is filtered into a spam, promotions, or junk folder

A checkout or delivery platform experiences a temporary interruption

The customer’s email provider delays or rejects the message

An order is not considered ready for delivery until the payment processor confirms that payment has been approved.

4. Customer Email Responsibility

You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and accessible email address during checkout.

The email address entered during purchase may be used to:

Confirm the transaction

Send your receipt

Deliver access instructions

Create or connect your customer account

Provide download links

Communicate important information about your purchase

Before completing your purchase, review the email address carefully.

Openbound Editions is not responsible for delivery delays caused by an incorrect, misspelled, inactive, inaccessible, or full email account provided by the customer.

We will nevertheless make a reasonable effort to help verify the purchase and correct legitimate access problems.

5. Accessing Purchases Through Hotmart

When a product is purchased through Hotmart, purchase confirmation and access information are generally sent to the email address entered during checkout.

The product may also be accessible through the customer’s Hotmart account or purchase area.

Customers should:

Check the inbox associated with the purchase

Check spam, junk, promotions, and other filtered folders

Confirm that the payment was approved

Sign in using the same email address entered during checkout

Review the purchase area for available products

Hotmart’s own platform terms, access procedures, and technical requirements may also apply.

6. If You Do Not Receive the Product

If your payment has been approved but you have not received access, first:

Check your spam, junk, promotions, and deleted-email folders.

Search your inbox for messages from Hotmart, the payment platform, or Openbound Editions.

Confirm that you are checking the same email address used during checkout.

Sign in to the applicable customer or purchase platform.

Confirm that the transaction was successfully approved.

If the product is still unavailable, contact:

hello@openboundeditions.com

Use the subject line:

Digital Delivery Assistance

Include:

Your full name

The email address used for the purchase

The product name

The purchase date

The order or transaction number

A brief description of the issue

Do not send complete card numbers, passwords, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.

7. Delivery Support

After verifying a legitimate purchase, Openbound Editions may take one or more of the following actions:

Resend the delivery email

Provide a replacement download link

Explain how to access the customer platform

Correct an eligible email-address issue

Coordinate with the checkout or delivery provider

Restore access when reasonably possible

Provide an alternative delivery method when appropriate

Delivery support does not guarantee compatibility with every device, application, printer, operating system, or internet connection.

8. File Formats and Technical Requirements

The formats included with each product may be stated on the applicable sales page.

Products may be provided in formats such as:

PDF

ZIP

JPG or PNG

Editable digital files

Online-access content

Other formats identified in the product description

You are responsible for having:

A compatible device

A stable internet connection

Sufficient storage space

Appropriate software for opening the files

A functioning email account

Printer access if you choose to print the materials

Openbound Editions does not guarantee that every file will work with outdated software, unsupported devices, or third-party applications not identified as compatible.

9. Downloading and Saving Files

Customers should download and securely save purchased files within a reasonable period after receiving access.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies after downloading the product.

Download links, customer areas, and third-party platforms may be modified, replaced, restricted, or discontinued for technical, security, legal, or operational reasons.

Unless the applicable sales page expressly promises lifetime access, a purchase should not be interpreted as a guarantee that a particular download link, platform, or membership area will remain available indefinitely.

Loss of a personal copy does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund. However, we may provide replacement access when the purchase can be verified and the product remains reasonably available.

10. Download Limits and Security

To protect our products from unauthorized distribution, download links or access areas may be subject to reasonable security measures, including:

Limited download attempts

Expiration of individual links

Login requirements

Account verification

Device or location review

Suspension following suspicious activity

If a legitimate customer reaches a technical or security limit, the customer may contact us for assistance.

Openbound Editions may refuse to reactivate access when there is reasonable evidence of fraud, account sharing, unauthorized distribution, resale, or other violation of our Terms of Service.

11. Personal License

Delivery of a digital product grants the purchaser a limited license for personal, non-commercial use, as described in our Terms of Service.

Delivery does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

You may not:

Share download links

Distribute product files

Upload products to public or shared platforms

Resell or sublicense the materials

Permit unrelated individuals to use a personal license

Claim the materials as your own

Remove copyright or ownership notices

12. Bundles and Bonuses

When you purchase a bundle, its components may be:

Delivered together

Delivered through multiple links

Organized inside a customer-access area

Sent in more than one email

Made available as separate downloadable files

Bonuses may be delivered with the main product or separately.

A temporary delay affecting one component or bonus does not necessarily mean that the entire bundle was not delivered.

If a listed component is missing, contact us so that we can verify the purchase and provide assistance.

13. Updates and Replacement Files

Openbound Editions may occasionally correct errors, improve formatting, update links, or replace files.

A purchase does not automatically include every future edition, expansion, translation, product, or additional resource unless this was expressly stated on the sales page.

When a replacement file or minor update is made available, we may deliver it through the original platform or send updated access instructions.

14. Refunds and Delivery Problems

A delivery or technical problem does not eliminate your rights under our Refund Policy.

Openbound Editions will first make a reasonable effort to provide the purchased product or correct the access issue.

Eligible purchases are covered by our 15-day refund guarantee, subject to the terms of our Refund Policy.

Contacting us for delivery support does not automatically extend the original refund period unless Openbound Editions confirms an extension in writing.

If you wish to request a refund, follow the process described in our Refund Policy.

15. Third-Party Platforms

Openbound Editions may rely on third-party checkout, payment, email, hosting, and delivery providers.

We are not responsible for outages or delays entirely outside our reasonable control. However, we will make a reasonable effort to assist legitimate customers and, when practical, provide an alternative delivery method.

Your access to a third-party platform may also be subject to that platform’s own terms, privacy policy, security procedures, and technical requirements.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Digital Delivery Policy to reflect changes in:

Our products

Delivery methods

Checkout platforms

Technical requirements

Security practices

Applicable legal obligations

The revised policy will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.

The delivery terms presented on the applicable sales page and in effect at the time of purchase will generally govern that transaction.
